PASTORANT’S FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

In the summer of 2005 a cosy little pasta restaurant by the name of Pastorant opened its doors. From day one, the driving idea behind Pastorant was that it would be more than just a place serving pasta.

That’s why over the years we’ve worked hard to established Pastorant as a place where traditional values of quality food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere are blended with the artistry and spirit of discovery of all the people who work there. In fact, Pastorant’s very existence is a taunt to the sceptics and pragmatists of the world who are convinced that Idealism is just a word found in dated textbooks….it is a wink and a smile to all those who see Saint-Exupéry's Little prince more as inspirational historical figure than a childish cartoon…

Today, as the world becomes evermore commercialised and mediocrity conquers all, Pastorant is celebrating its fifth anniversary. It’s been a 5 year test of survival, a period of trial and error with difficult moments and disappointments - but it has also been filled with so much satisfaction and the simple feeling of happiness one gets from a smile and a job well done. And it’s all been possible thanks to our loyal customers who gave us the opportunity to find our place under the sun; a place earned through hard work and dedication.

We have learned over the years that being different comes at a high price, but it is one we are convinced is worth paying. And now we are determined more than ever to continue on this path, reaching out to the people who share our values and recognise that food doesn’t just feed the body but also nourishes the soul.
